I start off the cast with a rant on the whole Powers trade misspelling screw-up featuring C.B. Cebulski. There is also a bunch of news (most of which I blogged about) including the Hunger Dogs in the New Gods Omnibus 4, a few DC Comics solicits, X-Men Masterworks Volume 6 and From Hell, the UK Hardcover edition, from Top Shelf.

I'm getting over a nasty cold. It's so bad, in fact, that I lost my voice on Sunday. I should be OK to podcast either Tuesday or Wednesday. In the meantime, you can hear me on today's Around Comics #142. (30:40 - New Collected Editions).

The bad news is my vision got a tiny bit worse and I now have to get glasses. Straight out of Baltimore, comes news that Dark Horse will be collecting Mike Mignola's Hellboy. Expected in 2Q 2008, it will reprint all the stories in chronological order similar to what they did with Frank Miller's Sin City - which is an awesome collection in of itself. I for one could not be happier, and to say it is overdue it putting it mildly.

Not surprising that the news is slow this week. After all it is a Holiday weekend here in the States. However, DC has delayed another project. This time with the Superman Kryptonite HC, which would have collected Superman: Confidential #1-6. We also have a set release date for Image Comics' Captain Victory and The Galactic Rangers HC.

Collected Comics Library Podcast #129
36,288Kb; 38m 42s

This weeks show is all about the Atlas Era Masterworks, well on the surface anyway. I go over all the titles and a few more that I'd like to see.
I also have a wonderful audio comment from Ralf of Germany, talk about the Podcast Awards (again) and go over The New Releases of the Week.
